POSITION(S): FAMILIES IN TRANSITION SUPPORT COORDINATOR (Bilingual English/Spanish REQUIRED)

REQUIREMENTS:

* Graduation from high school or its equivalent.

* Possess valid California driver's license.

* One year office experience where filing and record keeping are required.

WORK DAYS: 220 days (10 months) - 220 Day Work Year Calendar

Monday through Friday, 8 hours/day, 8:00 a.m.

- 4:30 p.m.

Tentative start date is August 3, 2026.

SALARY:
Ranges 16-20, salary placement from $19.66 - $27.70 hourly + 5% bilingual stipend

Salary prorated based on start date and prior experience

JOB SUMMARY

Under general supervision, operate and promote the Families in Transition (McKinney-Vento Homeless Act) program; assist students and their families to access available services. (Grant-funded position: Position is dependent on availability of grant funds.)

QUALIFICATIONS

a.

Required:

* High school graduation or its equivalent.

* Possess valid California driver's license.

* One year office experience where filing and record keeping are required.

* Knowledge of current office practices and procedures.

* Ability to keyboard, spell correctly and use proper grammar; use computer programs for data management; understand and follow oral and written instructions; establish and maintain cooperative relationships.

* Ability to use computer programs including Aeries, Microsoft Word and Excel.

* Ability to speak and write effectively; research and retrieve information using computer technology; work independently; work calmly and accurately under pressure and with frequent interruptions; establish and maintain cooperative relationships.

* Ability to keyboard at a speed of 55 words per minute.

b. Desirable:

1. Some experience in working with young people and social service agencies.
