+ Ensures that the patient is properly introduced to the unit and his/her surroundings within one hour after arrival to unit.

+ Reflects the physiological condition and psychological needs of the patient.

+ Uses observational and interviewing skills to perform a priority patient assessment every shift.

+ Makes rounds and documents patient's status on critical care record at least every two hours.

+ Identifies abnormal diagnostic data.

+ Utilizes standards of care to anticipate potential patient care problems.

* + Bachelors Of Science Nursing

+ 1-3 years Critical Care experience

+ 1 year experience as an Acute Care Nurse

+ Registered Nurse: CA RN license

+ Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days

+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS, within 30 Days
