Field Investigator

Job Summary

Field Specialist Investigator – Remote with field work in Arroyo, CA.

Part‑time, billable hours, non‑exempt. Compensation: $20–$24 per hour, paid weekly. Reports to Regional Manager.

• Hourly rate: $20–$24 per hour (weekly pay) – commensurate with experience and performance.
• Travel time: 100% of regular hourly rate, after standard commute deduction.
• Mileage reimbursement: $0.55 per mile for portal‑to‑portal and mobile surveillance mileage.
• Paid administrative time: paid at regular hourly rate.
• Paid training: paid at regular hourly rate.

• Conduct insurance claims investigations by performing scene investigations and canvases, collecting photo/video evidence from accident locations.
• Review all case materials prior to investigative activity.
• Document signings and retrievals via home visits.
• Daily submission of updates regarding work performed on each case.
• Prepare and dictate investigation reports.

• Strong attention to detail with commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and from a home‑based office with flexible hours.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle with good driving record.
• Minimum auto insurance: $100,000 each person/$300,000 each accident bodily injury/$50,000 property damage.
• Smartphone, printer, scanner, desktop/laptop computer with a good internet connection.
• Ability to model behaviors reflecting Frasco’s core values.
• Capability to contact clients and strategize best actions to meet their needs.

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice or related field.
• Bi‑lingual in Spanish and English.
• Customer service experience.
