Bookkeeper/ Accounting Clerk
HF Sinclair is looking for a Billing Associate in Artesia, NM. In this role you will conduct administrative assignments for assigned Accounting department under direct supervision.
Job Duties- Invoices all customers for payment to the assigned Company
- Inputs assessorial and miscellaneous bills, such as freight bills, for Accounts Payable to pay
- Run daily terminal sales reports and reconcile them against SAP
- Reviews sales folios, corrects data and performs reverse/rebooks as requested
- Create manual sales journal entries and credit memos
- Processes credit and re-bills
- Mails out daily invoices to customers and uploads invoices to customer portals
- Reply to customer inquiries, provides copies of BOL’s and invoices as requested.
- Communicate with other groups, such as inventory and contracts and pricing, to ensure our rack and bulk sales information is accurate
- Sends out daily invoice & price simulations
- Fills in and provides support to other staff as needed
- Review Accounts Receivable errors and make necessary corrections
- Input sales orders to process Bills Of Lading for SAP
- Enters volumetric ticket information into SAP
Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion.
ExperienceA minimum of two years on-the-job experience required.
A minimum of a High School degree or equivalent is required.
Required SkillsAbility to apply intermediate clerical and data entry assignments for the Accounting department. Working knowledge of Microsoft products. Detail oriented; basic understanding of bookkeeping practices and procedures; ability to identify discrepancies and determine alternative courses of action. Ability to communicate effectively with others, both written and verbal communication, ability to perform intermediate mathematical calculations, intermediate level reading and writing skills.
Work ConditionsOffice based.

Physical RequirementsJob conditions may require sitting, twisting, stooping, couching, kneeling, talking or hearing, making visual inspections, making precise hand and finger movements, reaching or grasping, lifting or carrying and pushing or pulling up to 25lbs, climbing up to 3ft. Job conditions may require standing, and walking.
