Locum Family Nurse Practitioner

Locum Family Nurse Practitioner - Government contract VA Clinic in southeastern New Mexico (any state license accepted) 45 minutes south of Roswell and 40 minutes north of Carlsbad and 3.5 hours south of Albuquerque.

Rewarding outpatient role supporting a dedicated VA clinic team serving a close-knit New Mexico community. This assignment offers meaningful patient impact, steady workflow, and the chance to practice full-scope family medicine with strong support.

• Assignment Dates: 6/15/2026 - 3/31/2027
• Schedule:
  Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5pm
• Manage a low-volume census of ~10 patients per day
• Provide full-spectrum family medicine care in an outpatient setting
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary clinical staff
• Perform exams, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
• Utilize diagnostic testing and documentation systems efficiently
• Travel:
  Paid travel and $5,000/month housing stipend

• Be able to do the job as described
• MSN or higher with Family Nurse Practitioner certification (FNP)
• Active U.S. Nurse Practitioner license (any state accepted)
• Current CPR (AHA), ACLS, and BLS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of direct patient care experience within past 3 years
• Comfortable managing outpatient primary care independently
