Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Artesia, New Mexico, 88210!

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / PCU

Artesia, NM

Contract | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | Every other weekend required | Holiday rotation may apply

• Provide direct patient care on a 26-bed Medical Surgical unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3–5
• Titrate drips including insulin, amiodarone, and vasopressors per established protocols as needed
• Read and interpret telemetry strips using Mindray cardiac monitors
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy, nurse aides, and charge nurses to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Document patient care accurately using the CPSI charting system
• Depending on competency, may be called upon to assist in the PCU area, where patients may be on drips and invasive monitoring

• Active RN license with a minimum of 3 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
• Ability to titrate IV drips per protocol
• Willingness to complete required facility onboarding modules prior to starting (approximately 20 hours)
• Flexibility with scheduling to help fill gaps; block scheduling is not guaranteed

• PCU or step-down unit experience strongly preferred
• Long-term acute care (LTAC) experience is a plus
• Ability to maintain an intubated patient is desirable

• Work at a facility with a broad scope of clinical capabilities and a growing level of acute care services
