Hoover Energy Services has openings for Automation Technician II to help expand our efforts in the fast paced, and growing oil and gas market in the Permian Basin of West Texas and New Mexico.

Ideal Automation Technician II would have experience in the following:o Learning Pump Panel Wiring + Optionso Learning PLC Panel Wiring + Options (Starter + VFD) o Learning PLC Panel Wiring Troubleshootingo Learning Pump Panel Wiring Troubleshooting (Starter + VFD) o Proficient use of process metero Learning Wiring AIs, AOs, DIs and Doso Learning Liquid Meter Setup + Run Setupo Understanding of setting up Transmitters (Temp Trans + PITs) o Operations Of LACT Equipment (Flange To Flange) o Login to PLCs , HMIs and other Devices USB, Ethernet,o HART + Rs485/ RS232o Reading Basic EFM + PLC Logico Basic Electrical Troubleshootingo IP Devices including HMI, PLC, Radio and EFMo Radio Configurationo Radio Troubleshootingo Full Understanding of how to install comms the “Correct Way”o Modem Configuration with helpo Control Valve Wiring and Setup of Veritas Kinds and Typeso Proficient Energy Isolationo Proficient at Calibrations and Loop Checkso Device Troubleshooting start to finish (Instrumentation) o Ability to work in a team environment or alone with minimal supervision.o

Be able to communicate verbally and in writing to other team members, as well as customers.o Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook) o Be able to pass a physical and drug screen including random drug screening.
