Accounting Manager

Location: Arvada, CO (On-site)

Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 per year (Exempt)

As an Account Manager for MARK VII Equipment, you'll be the central leader of the accounting department, managing and overseeing all daily operations from AR/AP to the General Ledger. A critical function of this role is producing precise monthly financial reports by monitoring and analyzing accounting data. You will also manage the full month and year-end close process and adhere strictly to all company accounting methods and policies.

• Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, AR, AP, GL.
• Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and producing monthly financial reports.
• Follow Wash Tech's accounting methods and accounting policies.
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department includes:
  • Month and year-end process
  • Accounts payable/receivable
  • Cash receipts
  • General ledger
  • Payroll and utilities accruals
  • Cash flow management
  • Revenue and expenditure variance analysis by department
  • Fixed assets
  • Etc.

• 5 + years of proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance Manager
• Experience with SAP required
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and database
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to direct and supervise
• BS degree in accounting or finance

• A base salary of $,000 annually (depending on qualifications and experience).

• Ability to perform work in a sedentary position for extended periods, with frequent use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse.

• Clear and effective verbal communication skills are essential for collaborating with team members and external stakeholders.
• The ability to occasionally lift and move up to 10 lbs. of equipment or documents.
