Position: TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANT (OA) with Security Clearance
Duties
* Personal property program administration.
* Interviews and assists Department of Defense personnel in planning and organizing passenger and personal property moves with the Traffic Management Office.
* Passenger movement program administration. Administers personal property inspection program.
* Serves as Quality Assurance Evaluator (QAE) providing quality control monitoring services to ensure that the Commercial Ticket Office contractor is in compliance with contract terms.
* Performs other clerical and administrative tasks as assigned in support of the organization. Requirements Conditions of employment

* Must obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise.
* May be required to work other than normal duty hours and tours of duty such as rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, call back, holidays, etc. May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.
* Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft, sometimes on short notice.
* Work will require employee to drive a general purpose motor vehicle. An appropriate, valid driver's license is required.
* May be required to participate in contingency situations, real world and exercise, as directed to include working occasionally in Unit Control Center operations.
* This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.
* May be required to carry a GOV cellphone on and off duty.

Qualifications In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions, Series 2102. SPECIALIZED

EXPERIENCE:

Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NK-01 equivalent to the next to lower grade GS-04 or equivalent in the Federal Service. Specialized experience must include Knowledge of the full range of traffic management principles, policies, practices, laws, regulations, techniques and operations to include those concerning economics of transportation, commercial carrier operations, unauthorized items and related areas such as storage, preparation, packaging, packing and US and foreign customs import/export requirements as these involve air, motor, and water movements;
Knowledge of quality assurance and inspection principles, practices, procedures, sampling techniques and policy;
Knowledge of standard contracting regulations, practices and procedures;
Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures. OR

EDUCATION:

Four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
