Salary: $75,000–$90,000 annually, based on relevant experience

Graphic Works is seeking a dependable, organized and capable Project Manager to manage commercial signage projects from award through design, permitting, fabrication, installation and closeout.

This is primarily a project‑management position. The successful candidate will work directly with property owners, general contractors, architects, designers, vendors and other project professionals.

The position also includes estimating smaller to mid‑sized projects and preparing pricing for change orders and revised project scope. However, strong project ownership, professional communication, organization and follow‑through are the most important qualifications.

Sign‑industry experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with experience in commercial construction, architectural specialties, environmental graphics or another related specialty trade are encouraged to apply. You do not need to know every detail of the sign industry on your first day. You do need strong project‑management fundamentals, professional judgment, dependable follow‑through and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities
  • Manage signage projects from award through final completion
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders
  • Communicate professionally with owners, general contractors, architects and vendors
  • Review project requirements, construction drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate shop drawings, submittals, samples, permits, sign schedules, location plans and approvals
  • Establish and maintain project schedules, milestone dates and internal priorities
  • Coordinate project requirements with design, purchasing, production, fabrication and installation teams
  • Participate in project meetings and document decisions, responsibilities and deadlines
  • Identify scope changes and ensure additional work is properly documented, priced and approved
  • Coordinate installation scheduling, site access, equipment requirements and field conditions
  • Maintain organized project records, correspondence and follow‑up items
  • Manage punch‑list work and project closeout
  • Resolve project challenges in a professional and solution‑oriented manner
Estimating and Change Orders
  • Prepare estimates for smaller to mid‑sized signage projects
  • Review drawings and specifications to identify project scope, materials, labor and installation requirements
  • Obtain vendor and subcontractor pricing when needed
  • Prepare change‑order pricing for added work, revised scope, field conditions and client‑requested changes
  • Clearly document pricing assumptions, exclusions and scope limitations
  • Work with company leadership on larger, more complex or higher‑risk estimates

Candidates with strong commercial project‑management experience who have not estimated signage must be willing and able to learn Graphic Works’ estimating process.

Qualifications
  • At least two years of progressively responsible experience in project management, assistant project management, project engineering or commercial project coordination
  • Ability to manage multiple active projects and competing deadlines
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization, documentation and follow‑through
  • Confidence participating in project meetings and communicating concerns professionally
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating closely with internal teams
  • Reliable attendance and consistent professional conduct
  • Willingness to learn the technical requirements of commercial signage
Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual salary of $75,000–$90,000 based on directly relevant experience
  • 401(k) with a 3% company…
