The RoleWe're seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to prepare competitive bids, analyze project documents, develop pricing strategies, and support the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects. You'll work closely with operations, project management, vendors, and field teams to help secure new work and drive profitable growth.
Core Responsibilities- Estimate Management:
Manage estimating team to track, prepare, and submit complete estimates - SOP Compliance:
Follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for Estimating - Cost Estimates:
Develop and prepare complete cost estimates for Labor, Materials, OH per project - Material Bills:
Prepare bills of material and other information for use by Construction, Purchasing and Accounting - Bid Meetings:
Attend pre-bid and pre-con meetings with Construction - Site Visits:
Participate in site visits and pre-bid meetings as needed - Field Takeoffs:
Perform field take-offs/evaluations for project estimate preparation - Document Review:
Review project documents for accuracy and consistency - Handover Docs:
Lead development of handover documents for the project team - Cost Tracking:
