Position: Assistant/Associate Professor of Counseling (18 Credits, Tenure Track, Residential)

Job Title: Assistant/Associate Professor of Counseling (Full Time, Tenure Track)

Reports To: Academic Dean

Location: On-campus

Pay: $65,000 – $95,000. Actual compensation offer to candidate will be based upon prior experience, skill level, tenure track status, and budget.

Denver Seminary invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in the Counseling Division. This is an opportunity to educate, mentor, and equip future Christian counselors in a mission-driven, CACREP-accredited program that integrates faith and evidence-based counseling practice.

Our counseling programs prepare students for clinical excellence, ethical leadership, and transformative ministry, serving the needs of individuals, families, and communities. As a faculty member in the Counseling Division, you will play a critical role in shaping the next generation of professional counselors by:

  • Delivering high-impact teaching (18 credit hours per academic year) in graduate-level courses.
  • Mentoring students holistically—academically, professionally, and spiritually.
  • Contributing to scholarship through research, writing, and conference presentations.
  • Integrating faith and counseling practice in a way that prepares students for real-world impact.
  • Serving the Seminary community through committee work, accreditation support, and faculty collaboration.

Other duties as assigned by the Academic Dean

Salary Range: $65K-$95K

Compensation:Competitive compensation package, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Includes a full benefits package, including relocation/ housing assistance (if needed) and access to professional development support.
