We’re partnering with an exceptional school district in Boulder County, CO searching for a Special Education Teacher to support elementary school students for the remainder of the school year.
This position supports a mission?driven, inclusive learning environment where elementary students on the autism spectrum can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. In this role you will provide individualized, structured instruction and collaborate closely with families and a multidisciplinary team to help students make meaningful progress toward their IEP goals.

Monday-Friday, 7:30am-3:05pm - Guaranteed
Hours:
37.5 hours weekly - Grade Levels:
Elementary, grades K-5
- Provide individualized academic and behavioral instruction to elementary-aged students in grades K-5 in a classroom environment specific to students on the Autism spectrum.
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with IEP goals to support diverse learning needs.
- Adapt instructional materials, strategies, and assessments to promote student growth and engagement.
- Collaborate with families, general education teachers, and support staff to coordinate services and support student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, behavioral data, and IEP compliance.
- Foster an inclusive, safe, and positive classroom environment that encourages independence and social-emotional development.
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Primary/Secondary Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
- Special Education teaching license from the Colorado Department of Education.
- Experience supporting students with disabilities in an academic or classroom-based setting, experience working with students with Autism preferred.
