Qualifications:

• Valid and current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Education Generalist license required
• Prior experience supporting students with diverse learning needs in elementary or middle school
• Strong collaborative skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, students, and their families
• Effective classroom management and individualized instructional techniques
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable with excellent communication skills

Position Highlights:

• Choose from three available Special Education teaching roles:
  • Elementary AN Center (37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday)
  • Middle School (37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday)
  • Middle School AN Center (37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday)
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Create positive, engaging, and supportive classroom environments
• Adapt curriculum and instruction to meet varied student needs
• Collaborate with educational staff, service providers, and families to monitor progress
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing student assessments
