Pre-School School-Based Social Worker - Arvada, Colorado

Qualifications &

Experience:

• State of Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license for Social Work is required
• Demonstrated experience serving preschool or early childhood populations is preferred

• Ability to develop and implement age-appropriate interventions and supports

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide social work services to PreK students enrolled in a Headstart program, addressing their social, emotional, and behavioral needs

• Assess student needs through observations, evaluations, and collaboration with the early childhood education team
• Facilitate small group and one-on-one sessions designed around early intervention and positive behavioral support
