We are currently seeking a passionate and licensed Special Education Teacher to join our team in Woodville, IN for the upcoming school year.

Job Description:
As a Special Education Teacher with Soliant Education, you will work with high school students to provide tailored instructional support and ensure their academic and personal growth. Your role will involve developing individualized education plans (IEPs), adapting curriculum, and collaborating with general education teachers and families to create a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for high school students with special needs.
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students in accordance with their IEP goals.
  • Modify and adapt curriculum materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to student education and support.
  • Track and document student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies and goals.
Qualifications
  • Must hold a valid Special Education teaching license.
  • Experience working with high school students in a special education setting is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of special education laws, IEP development, and instructional strategies.
  • Excellent munication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
