Position: (ELA) English-Language Arts Teacher

Ability to work in the United States without visa sponsorship is required.

• Elementary English-Language Arts (ELA) Teacher
• Middle School English-Language Arts (ELA) Teacher

• Develop lessons from district‑approved curriculum that engage students and help them to understand core concepts and achieve proficiency in English‑language arts.
• Conduct student‑teacher conferences that discuss student performance, areas of improvement, and suggestions for increasing grade average.
• Present ELA subject matter to students in a variety of ways, including implementation of technology in the classroom.
• Maintain a classroom environment that is safe, appropriate, and productive, allowing students to learn in a meaningful way.
• Monitor and enforce all codes of conduct and ensure that students always adhere to administrative policies.
• Other general duties of teachers and additional tasks assigned by administration.

• Active CDE Certification Teachers License.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Relevant experience teaching an English‑Language Arts class.
