JobOverview
We are seeking experienced and reliable after school arts program instructors to be apart of our Visual Arts program. The Visual Arts program is brand new to Strategic Kids and we're looking for candidates who want to play a pivotal role in expanding this program.
Under the umbrella of Visual Arts there are several sub programs including:
- Clay Art (Air dry clay)
- Comic Creators
- Mosaic Biomes
- Cartoon Craze
- Illustration
This position is a hybrid role as we continue to expand on the Visual Arts program. While we continue to book classes, there will be opportunities to work in after school programs as a general support staff to ensure you receive hours.
Key Responsibilities- Lead high quality enrichment programs for the students we serve
- Master the curriculum
- Attend program meetings and special events
- Collaborate with other instructors and administrators
- 24$/hour + daily stipend for a mileage reimbursement
- Must be 18 years or older
- A minimum of one year experience working with Elementary Age Children
- Classroom management
- Reliable transportation
- General Knowledge of Arts
- Three days of availability
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and transport equipment from school to school
- Must be able to stand for one hour blocks Sample
Schedule:- Mondays: 2:20 - 4:20 pm
- Tuesdays: 2:00 - 6:00 pm
- Thursdays: 2:20 - 3:30 pm
- Fridays: 2:20 - 4:30 pm
