We are seeking a skilled and experienced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician to join our team in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in NDT inspection techniques, with a focus on Ultrasonic Testing Shear Wave (UTSW) and possess a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification. This position requires a professional with 2 to 10 years of relevant work experience in the field of non-destructive testing.

As an NDT Tech PT, you will be responsible for conducting various non-destructive tests on materials, components, and structures to detect flaws, defects, or inconsistencies without causing damage to the items being inspected. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the safety, reliability, and quality of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a wide range of non-destructive tests, including but not limited to:
- Ultrasonic Testing Shear Wave (UTSW)
- Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
- Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT)
- Visual Testing (VT)
- Radiographic Testing (RT)
- Conduct welding inspections as a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
- Interpret and evaluate test results to identify defects, flaws, or inconsistencies in materials and components
- Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings, including documentation of test results, analysis, and recommendations
- Calibrate and maintain NDT equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations related to NDT procedures and workplace safety
- Collaborate with engineers, quality control personnel, and other team members to address issues identified during inspections
- Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and new NDT technologies and techniques
- Provide training and mentorship to junior NDT technicians as needed
- Participate in the development and improvement of NDT procedures and work instructions
- Travel to various job sites as required to perform on-site inspections and tests
- 2-10 years of experience in non-destructive testing, with a focus on UTSW and welding inspection
- Current certification as a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
- Level II or III certification in relevant NDT methods, particularly UTSW, MT, PT, and VT
- Strong knowledge of ASME, AWS, and other relevant industry codes and standards
- Proficiency in using various NDT equipment and interpreting test results
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
