Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.

We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.

We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

About This Role:

Join Crusoe as a Senior Project Engineer to lead the end-to-end execution of our complex, Engineered-to-Order (ETO) equipment. You will be the primary driver behind the delivery of modular integrated buildings, low-voltage switchboards, and medium-voltage switch gear.

In this role, you will move beyond pure technical execution to own the strategic lifecycle of each project. You will serve as the critical link between design engineering, supply chain, and production, ensuring that custom customer requirements are translated into a high-quality product delivered on time and within budget. Your focus will be on high-level orchestration: balancing schedules, optimizing resource allocation, and proactively mitigating risks before they reach the factory floor.

What

You’ll Be Working On:
  • ETO Project Ownership: Own the scope, schedule, and budget for complex ETO (Engineered to Order) projects, ensuring successful delivery of modular buildings and power distribution systems.

  • Strategic Scheduling & Resource Planning: Develop and maintain detailed project timelines; oversee and advise on the allocation of engineering and manufacturing resources to ensure alignment with delivery goals.

  • Preemptive Procurement & Sourcing: Partner with Supply Chain to identify long-lead items early; lead strategic sourcing efforts to ensure material availability for custom assemblies.

  • Strategic Change Management: Independently lead the implementation of complex Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), analyzing and mitigating their impact on project timelines, inventory, and production costs.

  • Production Risk Mitigation: Partner daily with the manufacturing team to identify potential bottlenecks or technical hurdles early in the project lifecycle to ensure world-class efficiency and safety.

  • Stakeholder Leadership: Drive strategic collaboration between Sales, Design Engineering, and Manufacturing to resolve high-level challenges and ensure customer specifications are met.

  • Project Governance: Create and enforce standards for project documentation and reporting, ensuring all phases of the ETO process comply with internal quality and safety standards.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in project management or project engineering, specifically within an ETO or complex assembly environment.

  • Project Leadership: Proven track record of managing a portfolio of projects from design through commissioning, particularly with heavy equipment or power infrastructure.

  • Technical Literacy: Ability to interpret complex 3D models (Solid Works) and electrical schematics to make informed decisions regarding project impact.

  • Systems Proficiency: Extensive experience using ERP/MRP software at a strategic level to manage project BOMs, inventory, and schedules.

  • Analytical Decision-Making: Exceptional…
