Electrical Engineer

Hiring a Lead Power Systems Engineer to join a company providing turnkey electrical, automation, and industrial infrastructure solutions for energy‑specific facilities. They support oil & gas, renewable fuels, water treatment, and mission‑critical operations, and specialize in LV & MV Systems engineering, SCADA integration, custom power distribution equipment, field services, and construction.

• Perform electrical power system studies including short circuit, coordination, arc flash, load flow, harmonic, and grounding analyses using relevant software platforms
• Support the design and integration of MV/HV electrical infrastructure & equipment (substations, switch gear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, protective relaying, etc.)
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, utility, and client teams throughout project design, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting activities
• Prepare technical deliverables including one‑line diagrams, engineering calculations, study reports, equipment specifications, and compliance documentation in accordance with NEC, IEEE, and NFPA standards

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
• 5 (+) years' experience within LV/MV Power Systems Design
• Power Systems Software capability (ETAP, SKM, ECAD, Power World, etc.)
• Knowledge of transformers, switch gear, MCCs, PDUs, bussing, breakers, etc.

This opportunity is hybrid with office visits in the greater Boulder, CO metroplex as needed.
