Project Engineer, Electrical Engineering

Project Engineer $70K-$90K annually in Arvada, CO.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday 8:00am‑5:00pm.

• Coordinate and lead the full project lifecycle as it pertains to the engineering effort on all orders.
• Maintain proper documentation and RFI logs for projects through submittal approval.
• Initial project intake and kickoff internal to engineering.
• Work closely with Project Managers to communicate status and needs to/from customers.
• Establish relationships with relevant supply chain partners and communicate flow‑down requirements.
• Develop and deliver submittals to customers, including:
• Long‑lead‑time component identification and notification to purchasing to match project needs.
• Electrical schematics and project footprint general sizing.
• Applicable UL checks of compliance.
• Congruent and streamlined coordination of various engineering sub‑groups (mechanical and electrical) to put forth a single, accurate, complete project scope and plan.
• Project ERP management.

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• High proficiency in creating/using Microsoft Excel applications that contribute to process automation.
• Exceptional organization skills and high level of attention to detail.
• Demonstrable experience with 2D and/or 3D CAD software.
• Working electrical knowledge of low‑voltage and medium‑voltage power systems.
• Firm knowledge of UL891 and familiarity with other UL Standards particularly 508A and/or 1008 and applicable medium‑voltage standards.
• ERP experience and knowledge.
• 2+ years of engineering experience or equivalent experience.
