Experience: 20+ Years in EPC (Oil & Gas / Petrochemical)
ROLE SUMMARYThe Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of EPC projects within the Oil & Gas sector. This role oversees all phases from FEED through engineering, procurement, construction, up to mechanical completion and commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered on scope, schedule, budget, and in full compliance with HSE and quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage the full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout
- Control project budget (CAPEX/OPEX), cash flow forecasting, and cost reporting
- Drive schedule adherence using Primavera P6 / MS Project; manage critical path activities
- Lead and coordinate multi-discipline engineering teams: process, piping, civil, E&I
- Act as primary client interface; manage stakeholder expectations and project correspondence
- Oversee procurement strategy, sub-contractor management, and materials expediting
- Chair progress review meetings and issue periodic project status reports to management
- Enforce HSE, QA/QC standards and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; administer the change control process
- Support construction commissioning, punch-list clearance, and final handover to client
- B.E. /
B.Tech. in Engineering from a Recognized institution - PMP / PMI certification is an preferred
- NEBOSH / IOSH HSE certification is an advantage
- Minimum 15 years of EPC project management experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Refinery sector
- Demonstrated experience managing PMC, EPCM greenfield and brownfield,EPC projects
- Strong leadership, team management, and conflict resolution capabilities
- Sound knowledge of contract frameworks: FIDIC, NEC, Lump Sum, and Reimbursable
- Knowledge in Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP, and AutoCAD (review level)
- Expertise in risk management, earned value analysis (EVA), and change management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and executive audiences
