Vice President, Finance
Base Pay Range:
$175,000-$250,00
Role OverviewThe Vice President, Finance serves as a strategic and operational finance leader, partnering closely with executive leadership to drive profitable growth, operational excellence, and financial discipline. This role oversees the Finance and Accounting function, including financial planning & analysis, accounting, and reporting, and leads the development of a high‑performing, insight‑driven finance organization that enables data‑informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, providing financial leadership and insight to drive business strategy and execution.
- Partner with the President and executive team on strategic planning, growth initiatives, and operational improvement efforts.
- Translate strategy into actionable financial plans, metrics, and accountabilities.
- Develop and institutionalize KPIs and business metrics that provide forward‑looking insights.
- Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews, identifying opportunities, risks, and corrective actions.
- Lead business‑unit budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range financial planning processes.
- Provide executive oversight of accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls through direct leadership of the Controller.
- Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Promote strong governance, compliance, and ethical standards across the Finance organization.
- Partner closely with the DTFOC Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Controller to ensure accounting processes are developed and managed in accordance with the expectations of the DTFOC.
- Lead, develop, and inspire a multi‑disciplinary finance organization, including FP&A and Accounting.
- Build a culture emphasizing accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
- MBA or CPA strongly preferred
- 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience with increasing responsibility
- Experience in a private equity‑backed environment strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success partnering with executive leadership to drive strategy and results
- Strong strategic and analytical leadership capabilities
- Proven ability to operate effectively at both strategic and hands‑on levels
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High ethical standards, sound judgment, and a results‑oriented mindset
