Role and Responsibilities

Client Service & Sales

  • Provide high‑quality client experience for new, existing, and prospective clients.
  • Effectively communicate the value of Flatirons Bank to prospects and existing clients.
  • Cross‑sell the Bank’s products and services and refer clients to appropriate staff.
  • Manage a small book of business by actively connecting with clients to build lasting relationships and grow their engagement with the Bank.
  • Reinforce superior customer service through personal example and appropriate follow‑through with customers and employees.
  • Perform teller duties, cash checks, process withdrawals, and issue cashier’s checks while ensuring all documents are properly authorized and within limits.
  • Answer client questions, investigate and correct errors, and resolve problems or other issues.

Community Engagement & Business Development

  • Represent Flatirons Bank at local networking events, community meetings, and business development forums.
  • Engage in client outreach outside the bank to raise brand awareness and build community trust.
  • Partner with local business organizations and nonprofit groups to identify and support shared goals.
  • Promote the Flatirons Bank brand as a trusted local banking resource.

Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure loan and account documentation is accurate and compliant with federal and state regulations.
  • Receive and process stop‑payment and hold notices.
  • Identify and solve efficiency opportunities in processes through proactive collaboration with leadership.
  • Process online banking transactions including ACH, external transfers, mobile remote deposit items, etc.
  • Perform other treasury management and operational duties as required.
  • Assist in preparation of operations audits related to treasury management services.
  • Make decisions regarding opening new accounts, assigning account numbers, obtaining and filing required CIP documentation, and verifying credit or account history.
  • Provide support to all assigned branch operations areas, including new accounts, tellers, operations, and safe deposit.
  • Reconcile internal accounts on a rotating basis, researching and resolving outstanding items.
  • Process ATM access card requests, DDA lines of credit (overdraft protection), credit card, and debit card applications.
  • Adhere to Bank policies, government regulations, and legal requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in retail or commercial banking.
  • Active NMLS registration required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in consumer and business lending.
  • Deep knowledge of deposit products, treasury services, and financial regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow a client portfolio.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills.
  • Familiarity with banking platforms, loan origination systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Client‑focused with a proactive, solutions‑oriented approach.
  • Self‑starter with strong follow‑through and accountability.
  • Strong team collaborator capable of working independently when needed.
  • Strategic thinker who can connect clients’ needs to bank solutions.
  • Comfortable in public‑facing and networking environments.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Hourly pay range: $28.00 – $36.00 per hour.
