As a Therapist at Sunrise Counseling and Wellness, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate mental health care to individuals facing substance use disorders and related challenges. This position is essential in fostering a safe and supportive environment that empowers clients on their journey to recovery.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions to promote peer support and shared experiences among clients.
• Utilize behavior management techniques to address client behaviors effectively.
• Provide individual clinical counseling sessions focused on recovery and personal growth.
• Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy modalities to support client progress.
• Engage in data collection for treatment outcomes and program evaluation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Support clients in navigating their recovery journey through case management strategies.

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Valid state licensure as a therapist or counselor is required.
• Proven experience in clinical counseling, particularly with substance use disorders.
• Strong skills in behavior management and group therapy facilitation.
• Familiarity with grief counseling techniques is beneficial but not required.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Commitment to person-centered care and continuous professional development.
