Background Investigator – TS

• Review completed background interview documentation for inconsistencies, errors, omissions, and minimum requirements
• Conduct background investigations by interviewing employers, co-workers, neighbors, law enforcement officials, military personnel, family members, and personal references
• Prepare detailed and complete interview statements for each person being interviewed
• Prepare documentation for results of investigation package, organizing material in accordance with established procedures
• Prepare detailed summary of adverse information based upon objective analysis and evaluation of candidate’s background

• Active Top-Secret clearance
• Completion of NTS Background Investigator course
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
• Ability to conduct interviews virtually at home
• Located near Northern Virginia, Atlanta, Seattle, Salt Lake City

Demonstrates expertise in conducting thorough background investigations, including interviewing various stakeholders and preparing detailed documentation. Possesses strong analytical skills to evaluate candidate backgrounds and summarize findings effectively.
