Responsibilities
- Liaise with the Hospital Operations Equipment Manager to manage the full lifecycle of telecommunications and IT assets.
- Coordinate staff training sessions and oversee the distribution of technical equipment across the facility.
- Provide direct technical support to staff by troubleshooting issues with landline telephones, cellular phones, pagers, computers, printers, copiers, Direct
TV, television, and audio‑visual equipment. - Maintain an accurate database for all communication devices and leased computers to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Assist with GPS tracking system management, troubleshooting GPS ankle monitors, and providing first‑level technical support.
- Collaborate with the Hawkins Building Manager to support the duress alarm system, offering first‑level support and troubleshooting.
- Assist with routine purchasing and procurement support, make purchases for necessary equipment and supplies, and track order status with vendors.
- Perform any other duties that may arise to ensure necessary tasks are completed, even if not specifically covered in the established duty statements.
- Two (2) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in an occupation related to the work.
- Preferred:
Prior basic electronic experience (televisions, cell phones, computers, etc.), education relevant to electronics repair, and state service experience.
- Full Background CDHS screening for direct contact with vulnerable persons, including name check, fingerprint check, court database checks, fraud databases, reference checks, license verification, drug screen, and related checks.
- Travel may be required for training or departmental needs.
- Valid, unrestricted U.S. driver's license required. Position will drive a state fleet or non‑state fleet vehicle.
- State of Colorado residency required at the time of application and throughout employment. Out‑of‑state license holders must obtain a Colorado license within 30 days of employment start.
- Former state employees with disciplinary termination or resignation in lieu of termination must disclose and explain prior circumstances during application.
