Responsibilities

- Shape secure, scalable enterprise IT and cloud solutions impacting U.S. government agency operations
- Design, evaluate, and guide enterprise and cloud architectures aligning with business and mission needs
- Drive architectural decisions and modernize existing environments
- Research and evaluate current and emerging technologies, tools, and methods
- Assess existing system and business process architectures and recommend improvements
- Ensure technical architecture teams deliver effective, scalable, and secure solutions
- Develop, enhance, and maintain service design procedures and processes
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, test plans, and analytical briefings
- Elicit and refine customer requirements and evaluate alternatives across software, platform, and network domains
- Design, plan, and deploy DNS architectures
- Implement and optimize monitoring tools and alerts to detect performance and security issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams
- Support and guide cloud migration initiatives, including assessment and planning
- Provide clear status updates to stakeholders and leadership
- Coach and mentor less-experienced professionals
- 5+ years of related experience
- Active TS or Q-level clearance
- U.S. Citizenship Required
- Deep expertise in DNS architecture
- Hands‑on experience designing and implementing solutions in Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Cloud migration expertise
- Strong understanding of on‑premises infrastructure
- Familiarity with DNS‑related and network services technologies such as Infoblox or similar platforms
Demonstrates expertise in designing and implementing secure, scalable enterprise IT and cloud solutions, with a strong focus on DNS architecture and cloud migration strategies. Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor less-experienced professionals while delivering effective technical presentations and status updates.
