Network Technician Level I

• POSITION TITLE: Network Support Technician – Level 1
• LOCATION: Technology Support Center
• STATUS: Classified – Non-Exempt, Full Time
• HOURS OF WORK: 40 hours a week, 242-day calendar
• POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for installing, upgrading, and configuring workstations and District classroom equipment within the district; resolving software and hardware problems; and providing end-user support District wide.
• This position is part of the Technology team and reports to the Technology Support Manager.

This position requires the performance of Medium work. The position involves Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. The position is in a normal office setting with exposure to computers, with interruptions and irregularities in the work schedule. The position includes significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, frequent reaching, walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity is required in carrying out the essential duties of this position.

The position is performed in generally hazard free environment and a clean atmosphere.
