Cafe Associate

Responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Prepare food to item specifications, plan future and mass productions, manage seasonality, and adhere to food safety, sanitation, cold‑chain, and inventory standards.
• Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment and demonstrate an understanding of product and layout execution.
• Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and support associate engagement.
• Drive area performance: stock and rotate merchandise, enforce quality and date‑control standards, eliminate waste, and provide member service.
• Act as a brand advocate, train and inspire teammates, and promote a respectful, supportive, team‑oriented work style.
• Comply with company policies, procedures and ethics, including using the Open Door Policy and applying action plans.
• Use data, resources, and collaboration to set priorities, meet deadlines, communicate progress, and recommend improvement opportunities.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 to $29.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives and premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must successfully complete all job‑required training and assessments within a prescribed time period.
• Preferred:
  Food Safety Certification, Food Service certification, Food Handler Certification.
