Primary Responsibilities of O&M Regional Supervisors
  • Supervise teams across multiple states for a major industrial client.

  • Oversee and guide all site-based operations teams across the assigned projects.

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal water quality permit standards and deliver optimal client performance.

  • Foster a strong safety culture and ensure all personnel adhere to safe work practices.

  • Maintain operational and regulatory compliance at all sites.

  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and training to regional staff and on-site managers, ensuring high performance and accountability.

  • Monitor team productivity and ensure task completion.

  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting through both corporate and client platforms.

  • Lead professional development initiatives for operations staff, mentoring new managers, identifying training needs, and supporting growth plans.

  • Implement and oversee standardized training programs and manage performance evaluations.

  • Drive initiatives around safety, equipment maintenance, process control, cost reduction, and sustainability.

  • Help recruit, onboard, and motivate on-site supervisors.

  • Promote diversity and inclusion within the team.

  • Ensure performance evaluations and policy communications are consistently applied.

  • Be prepared to step into on-site management during emergencies or project launches.

  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all job-related activities.

  • Ensure high-quality service delivery, meeting client expectations and agreed KPIs.

  • Travel frequently to project sites for inspections, client meetings, and operational assessments.

  • Support new business development opportunities and participate in contract services growth.

  • Report on competitive activity and support marketing strategies through presentations and reporting.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, reporting regularly on satisfaction and addressing any concerns.

  • Analyze and review monthly operational and compliance reports to monitor site performance and client relationships.

  • Assist teams with resolving local challenges and strengthening client partnerships.

  • Develop budgets and assist in strategic planning to align operations with compliance goals and business objectives.

  • Review and utilize monthly project data to improve client service and maintain contract fulfillment.

  • Actively participate in local professional organizations and stay informed about emerging technologies and service trends.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma required.

  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in industrial or municipal water/wastewater operations or related fields, with project and financial oversight responsibilities.

  • Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.

  • Proficient understanding of industrial systems including fluid dynamics, equipment, and instrumentation.

  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Strong computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office and SCADA systems.

  • Effective remote communication and virtual management skills.

  • Familiarity with relevant industrial regulations and ability to ensure safety and quality compliance.

  • Must hold a Level “A” wastewater license in Colorado.

  • Must reside in or near Winter Park, CO.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or technical post-secondary education.

  • Over 10 years of experience in water/wastewater treatment with leadership responsibilities.

  • Knowledge of strategies to improve plant efficiency and reduce operational costs.

  • Confident presenting to stakeholders and contributing to proposal development.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to analyze and solve complex problems.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels.

  • Familiarity with working with regulatory agencies during inspections.

  • Experience with radiological materials, forklifts, ultrafiltration systems, and dewatering processes.
