Senior Project Manager

We're looking for problem‑solving, opportunity‑finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved by people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

About This Role

Crusoe is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to own the planning and execution of complex facility buildout and manufacturing infrastructure projects. This role is central to Crusoe’s ability to scale its high‑speed, high‑tech manufacturing operations for data center hardware packing servers, GPUs, and rack systems for data center installation and will be responsible for delivering these environments from construction through operational readiness on an ongoing basis.

This is a hands‑on, Denver‑based role with regular travel to other Crusoe facilities. You will manage the full project lifecycle across multiple concurrent initiatives from interior construction and infrastructure buildout through manufacturing line commissioning and turnover, coordinating directly with contractors, vendors, and internal cross‑functional teams.

What You’ll Be Working On
  • Lead all phases of facility construction, including warehouse‑to‑manufacturing conversions and greenfield environments. Manage scope, schedule, and budget across a portfolio of capital projects.
  • Oversee the buildout of critical facility infrastructure including high‑capacity electrical distribution, mechanical/HVAC systems, and industrial automation.
  • Lead the transition from construction completion to manufacturing readiness. Coordinate equipment installation, testing, and commissioning of high‑speed production lines.
  • Partner with operations and engineering teams to ensure facility designs support high‑throughput assembly of data center hardware, incorporating lessons learned into future planning.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to constructability, equipment delivery, and schedule dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors and vendors; lead regular status meetings and ensure transparency across engineering, procurement, and leadership teams.
  • Manage contractor agreements, ensuring strict adherence to commercial terms, safety protocols, and quality standards.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering degrees are preferred.
  • 510+ years of project management experience delivering complex capital projects on time and on budget.
  • Demonstrated experience managing industrial facility construction, including electrical, mechanical/HVAC, and automation systems.
  • Mastery of fundamentals: planning, scheduling (CPM), budgeting, cost control, risk management, and resource allocation.
  • Experience managing both direct contractor relationships and working through a CM/GC structure.
  • This position is designated a safety‑sensitive position and/or is located in a safety‑sensitive facility. Drug and alcohol program participation is required. Must pass a background check.
  • Comfortable working on‑site daily with weekly travel to facilities in the greater Denver area.
Bonus Points
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience in data center construction, electronics manufacturing, or high‑tech production environments.
  • Familiarity with ESD (electrostatic discharge) controls and cleanroom‑adjacent environments.
  • Experience with conveyor systems, automated assembly lines, or material handling infrastructure.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation
  • Restricted Stock Units
  • Paid time off & paid holidays
  • Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance
  • Employer contributions to HSA account
  • Paid parental leave
  • Paid life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability
  • Professional development & tuition reimbursement
  • Mental health & wellness support
  • Commuter benefits (parking & transit)
  • Cell phone stipend
  • 401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary
  • Volunteer time off

Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $148,000 -$180,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
