Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Engineering
Summary: Aerospace Manufacturing Technician fabricating and validating flight hardware and ground support equipment per engineering drawings, procedures, and quality standards.
Job Requirements- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent plus advanced training
- 2+ years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment in a similar role
- Experience with mechanical and/or electrical assembly and general shop fabrication
- Ability to identify and report nonconformances to engineering and quality
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office 365
- Ability to work Mon–Fri, with occasional weekends and extended days to meet shipping deadlines
- Ability to work the specified shift:
Mon–Fri 7:30 AM–4:00 PM - Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and perform physical job functions (standing, walking, reaching, handling tools)
- Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision
- U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person as defined by ITAR regulations
- Ability to read and work from diagrams, drawings, and detailed procedures
- Experience operating electrical and non-electrical manufacturing equipment
- Proficiency with hand and power tools (crimpers, drills, taps, torque wrenches, air tools)
- Experience working with adhesives, chemical cleaners, coatings, and commonly used manufacturing chemicals
- Ability to travel to local vendors and suppliers as required
- Fabricate, assemble, and validate critical flight hardware and flight ground support equipment per drawings, procedures, quality standards, and internal training
- Perform mechanical assembly and electrical assembly operations using approved work instructions and tooling
- Assist engineers with proto@type/flight hardware manufacturing, test infrastructure development, and documentation (assembly records, test procedures, related technical documents)
- Identify, document, and communicate nonconformances to engineering and quality assurance for disposition
- Coordinate with facilities and maintenance to ensure production equipment is maintained and repaired to support manufacturing schedules
- Partner with manufacturing engineering to optimize manufacturing orders and ensure process instructions are understood and followed
- Support schedule-driven builds, including overtime and occasional weekend work to meet shipping requirements
Pay: 30-33

Pay Details: $30.00 to $33.00 per hour
