Spare Parts Coordinator

Shift: Night shift, 6pm – 6am, Thursday – Saturday, including every alternating Wednesday.

Position: Spare Parts Coordinator – reporting to Auxiliary Maintenance Supervisor, Fremont, CA. Fully on-site.

• Maintain stock of spare parts inventory for maintenance team
• Communicate with vendors/manufacturers to acquire needed spares
• Search for parts and find better deals to reduce spending costs
• Set up and organize & maintain maintenance spares
• Manage backorders
• Follow through with spare parts purchase requisitions
• Send and receive components sent out for repair
• Submit monthly reports to Maintenance Manager on spending towards the maintenance budget
• Utilize CMMS for parts inventory management, tracking and invoicing
• Generate reports concerning budget, invoicing vs. open POs, etc.
• Coordinate receiving orders with shipping/receiving group
• Support equipment engineering group

• 10+ years experience with inventory management/parts procurement for maintenance organization – preferred
• Experience in skilled trades or technical spares
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, active listening)
• Ability to work in Oracle for parts procurement (Agile experience a plus)
• 5+ years experience working with vendors to generate parts quotes for procurement
• Intermediate skill level with MS Word and Excel;
  PowerPoint proficiency a plus
• Highly motivated self‑starter capable of self‑management with little or no oversight
• Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to establish effective cross‑functional relationships; ability to participate on multi‑disciplinary teams
