Mechanical Assembler I

Responsible for the assembly and/or fabrication of mechanical parts, pieces, or products according to required specifications within the assigned area of production.

• Schedule:
  
  6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
• Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions to accurately assemble equipment and products.
• Utilize hand‑held tools such as screwdrivers, drill guns, wire strippers, and other assembly tools.
• Maintain inventory of product in work stations.
• Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
• Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
• Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
• Complete any other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Required 1‑2 years of related experience.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend documents and follow simple instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and understand electrical diagrams.
• Basic computer navigation and utilization skills.
• Must pass an assembly test.
• Basic knowledge of hand‑tool use: tape measure, drills, pneumatic air tools.

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb, and use hands to grip regularly.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Regularly perform repetitive tasks and maintain proper posture.
• Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards.

• Hourly pay range: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
