Adult Pre-field Program Lead Mission Training International Equipping & Developing Cross-Cultur

Job Overview The Adult Pre-field Program (Compass) Lead is responsible for guiding MTI’s mission to serve cross-cultural messengers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through pre-field training. This role is fulfilled by shepherding the Compass staff, nurturing their spiritual vitality, leveraging individual strengths, fostering collective wisdom, and unifying their efforts in a spirit of love and service.

Scope of Authority Responsible for all personnel, processes, and finances related to Compass staff and Compass programming.

Reporting & Supervisory Relationship Appointed by and reports to the President. The Compass adult and children teams report to the Compass Director.

• A minimum of 5+ years of overseas ministry and living experience.
• Experienced as a pre-field trainer, developer, and team member.

Education:

4-year college diploma.

• Ensure that Compass participants demonstrate greater on-field effectiveness, endurance, and personal vitality compared to those who do not attend.
• Coordinate the efforts of staff, curriculum, and environment to effectively develop and equip participants.
• Actively participate in the MTI leadership team, contributing to decision-making and strategic direction.

• Empower the Compass Adult & Children’s (CHIPs) leaders to maximize their team’s impact, expertise, and unity.
• Collaborate with Compass leaders to recruit, evaluate, and onboard new staff, while also fostering the development of existing staff.
