Storyline Church – Kids Minister

The Kids Minister oversees our Storyline Kids Ministry, leaders, & staff. The Kids Minister will be responsible for helping align Storyline Kids’ ministry (birth- 5th grade) with the overall mission, vision, values, and strategies of the family discipleship team and the church.

• Gospel-Center, Scripture-Driven:
  Someone who believes in the power of the Gospel and the importance of Scripture on a child’s life and ability to translate it to a child.
• Highly Relational:
  Someone who is warm, leads with humility, doesn’t think they have it all figured out and can relate to parents and kids.
• Multiplier of Leaders:
  Someone who understands that they need to multiply themselves through recruiting, delegating and empowering leaders.
• Visionary:
  Someone who understands and believes the importance of kids ministry and family ministry and is able to transfer that passion and vision to others.
• Hungry and Coachable:
  Someone who is focused on how they can get better, they are curious and they want to grow because they want Storyline kids to be the best it can be.

I love this role because it gives someone high level leadership opportunities at a growing, thriving church. If someone is wanting to build a great kids ministry at a Gospel-Driven church, serving alongside a growing team, then this is the position for them.

Storyline Church began as a church plant through the North American Mission Board, launching in February 2015. In2020, Storyline Church welcomed Dr. JT English as the new Lead Pastor. Under JT’s leadership, we added newstaff to our team, saw our church remain unified and hopeful, welcomed hundreds of new people who now call Storyline home, andhadnew ideas for the next chapter of our story.

In 2024, Storyline embarked on a season called One Sound, where we committed to pray, give, and go in obedience to the Lord to build beyond ourselves andexpand our impact in Arvada, invest in the next generation, and plant churches.

Today, Storyline Church has baptized more than 800 people and regularly gathers over 2,300 inworship and 450 kidson Sundays. More than 1,500men and women,200 middle and high school students, and 400 college students connect in Discipleship Spaces throughout the week.

And throughout the year, Storyline Members share the gospel in both local missions opportunities and around the world. We are committed to continuing to follow the mission the Lord has given us in the days, months, and years to come. We can’t wait to see how He will continue to lead us.
