Compensation

Hourly Wage Estimate: $36.50 - $53.25 per hour. Sign‑on Bonus: $5,000 – $10,000 for select units. Relocation assistance available for eligible candidates.

Job Summary

The HCA Nurse Residency Program is a year‑long paid program designed to transition graduate nurses into practice through clinical training, preceptorship, simulations, and evidence‑based projects.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
  • Document the administration of care in the patient medical record promptly and thoroughly.
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and notify provider as needed.
  • Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs to resolve them pro‑actively.
  • Teach patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow‑up measures.
Qualifications
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
  • Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the state.
  • No previous experience required.
  • Some travel may be required for training.
