Registered Nurse - Acute Care Oncology

Overview

UCHealth is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse – Acute Care Oncology to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to adult oncology patients. In this fast-paced inpatient setting, you will perform assessments, administer chemotherapy and supportive therapies, manage central lines, coordinate multidisciplinary care plans, and educate patients and families. You’ll collaborate closely with physicians and allied teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care.

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments for adults with oncology-related conditions.
• Administer chemotherapy and supportive therapies in accordance with established protocols and orders.
• Manage central lines and assist with line maintenance and complication prevention.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care plans and ensure timely communication among care teams.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, potential side effects, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to deliver safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care.
