We are hiring an experienced QMAP ready to lead with care.
Join a team where Care is Wrapped in Kindness. At Applewood Our House, memory care is personal. We serve residents with dementia in a calm, home-like environment where integrity, compassion, and adaptability guide every decision we make.
At Applewood, you aren't just a staff member. You are a trusted leader within a small, dedicated household team. We're looking for an experienced QMAP who wants to take the next step: someone who sets the standard for medication safety, supports and mentors fellow caregivers, and brings a presence that feels like family.

Lead in a calm, residential environment, with no long, cold hospital hallways. - Deep Connections:
Know your residents well and help guide your care with a consistent, familiar team. - Professional Integrity:
Oversee medication practices with precision and care, supported by a leadership team that values safety and integrity. - Room to Grow:
Step into a leadership role where your experience and judgment are recognized.
- Medication Oversight:
Lead and monitor medication administration to ensure full compliance with Colorado regulations. - Records and Audits:
Review MARs and medication records for accuracy, conduct routine audits, and correct discrepancies promptly. - Pharmacy Coordination:
Manage medication orders, refills, deliveries, and storage, and communicate with pharmacies, physicians, and families as needed. - Controlled Substances:
Maintain accurate counts and secure handling of controlled medications. - Team Support and Training:
Train, mentor, and support QMAPs and caregivers in safe medication practices. - Dignified Personal Care:
Provide hands‑on assistance with ADLs in a gentle, respectful manner when needed. - Dementia Support:
Recognize and respond to the unique needs of residents with dementia with patience and grace. - Communication:
Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition, behavior, or medication response to leadership.
- Experience:
At least [1–2] years of experience as a QMAP required; memory care or assisted living experience strongly preferred. - Leadership:
Prior lead, trainer, or supervisory experience preferred. - Attention to Detail:
Strong organizational and documentation skills. - Reliability:
Must be dependable and committed to a consistent schedule.
If you're ready to bring your medication expertise and leadership to a place that feels like home instead of a "big box" facility, we want to meet you.
