Senior Sales Associate

Music & Arts is seeking a Part-Time Senior Sales Associate to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service in our retail store. In this role, you'll guide students, parents, and educators in selecting band and orchestra instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons. You'll support daily store operations, maintain merchandising standards, process transactions, and meet sales goals. You'll collaborate with a student-focused, service-driven team, helping local schools and families access quality music education resources while developing your retail and product knowledge in a mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons
• Provide knowledgeable, student-focused customer service to students, parents, and educators
• Achieve individual and store sales goals
• Process rentals, sales transactions, and lesson enrollments accurately
• Maintain merchandising, product displays, and store cleanliness
• Support inventory management, stocking, and pricing
• Promote music lessons, events, and educational programs
• Collaborate with team members and store leadership on daily operations
• Resolve basic customer issues and escalate when needed
• Represent Music & Arts' mission in the local school and music community
