Service Technician
Job Description:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and install all types of air compressors, air dryers and filters
- Read prints, wiring schematics and diagrams
- Complete mechanical/electrical repair work
- Provide quality customer service
Qualifications:
- Firsthand experience with rotary screw compressors, Sullair preferred.
- Firsthand experience with centrifugal compressors, Sullair preferred.
- Technical/vocational or high school diploma or GED
- Minimum one year experience with mechanical and electrical equipment service
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills with demonstrated expertise in the maintenance and repair of a variety of industrial equipment
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Candidates will be working with more experienced field technicians but must be able to perform duties without direct supervision and be self-directed.
- A set of basic maintenance tools is required.
- Must pass all required pre-employment screenings which may include but are not limited to background checks, drug/alcohol testing, fit-for-duty testing, and any other job-related tests/screenings
- Flexibility to work overtime and travel overnight
