- Train and instruct personnel in safe operation of fleet equipment such as overhead cranes, vehicle maintenance lifts, measurement and diagnostic equipment, forklifts and hand tools.
- Diagnose and perform major repairs and overhauls on gasoline and diesel engines, including inspection, troubleshooting, cleaning, adjustment, and installation of fuel, ignition, electrical, cooling, hydraulic system parts and controls, and welding.
- Diagnose and perform electrical, hydraulic and other field repairs.
- Inspect, service and repair vehicle braking systems; diagnose, repair and maintain vehicle air brakes, hydraulic systems and associated power‑take‑off equipment.
- Support the professional growth and development of employees across all levels of the organization.
- Engage around priorities to foster collaboration and results.
- Adhere to and promote company safety policies and programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience in automotive, truck, heavy equipment, fleet diagnostics and repair.
- Ability to analyze complex vehicle and equipment problems, evaluate alternatives and recommend or adopt appropriate courses of action.
- Valid driver’s license and successful internal MVR review.
- Own tools and willingness to purchase additional tools as needed.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
Pay range: $24.24/hr – $30.29/hr.
