Aurora Mental Health & Recovery’s Vocational Program is dedicated to helping individuals with mental health and substance use challenges—starting at age 15—overcome barriers to employment and education. We are seeking a Case Manager to provide comprehensive behavioral case management while collaborating with a dynamic team of employment specialists, peer specialists, therapists, and community agencies. This role is instrumental in guiding job seekers toward stability and success by addressing obstacles, fostering accountability, and enhancing engagement in vocational pursuits.

The ideal candidate is an experienced case manager with a passion for working with diverse populations, excellent communication and problem‑solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and web‑based programs. Schedule

This position is fully Onsite/In‑person. The schedule is Monday ‑ Friday, 8:00 am ‑ 5:00 pm.

Term‑Limited Position

This is a full‑time, benefits‑eligible, term‑limited position expected to end on or around June 30, 2027, with the possibility of extension if grant funding continues. This position is funded through the CDLE Disability Application Assistance Grant grant and is contingent upon continued funding. The position may be eliminated if funding is reduced or discontinued by the grantor.

Salary

The starting wage is based on experience and company equity. Paid bi‑weekly. $21.03 ‑ $31.56 per hour

Bilingual Language Differential Pay
  • Employees who successfully pass a language assessment are eligible to receive bilingual differential pay.
  • This differential is provided as a fixed amount of $3,000 per calendar year, paid on a bi‑weekly basis across 26 pay periods, and prorated based on hire date and full‑time equivalency (FTE).
  • Eligibility and payment are subject to the language requirements of the position and the employee’s demonstrated proficiency in the language.
Essential Functions
  • Serve as payee for clients who require assistance to manage their finances.
  • Help clients in meeting basic needs for food, clothing, shelter, personal safety and general health care, and assist them with applications for income, medical, housing or other benefits which they may need and to which they are entitled.
  • Ensure clients’ access to needed services and community resources by arranging for transportation.
  • Provide comprehensive psychosocial services designed to improve or maintain clients abilities to function effectively.
  • Help clients evaluate strengths and symptoms, and facilitate in clients setting their own goals and plan for appropriate services.
  • Guide and instruct clients in daily living skills such as medication use, diet, exercise, personal hygiene, shopping, cooking, budgeting, housekeeping, use of transportation and other community services.
  • Help clients develop social skills, interests and leisure time activities, including opportunities for age appropriate activities.
  • Help clients find and make use of appropriate employment opportunities, vocational rehabilitation services or supported work environments where appropriate.
  • Offer support, assistance, consultation and education to families, friends, landlords, employers, community agencies and others who come into contact with clients, in order to maximize benefits and minimize problems associated with the presence of these persons in the community.
  • Identify, work with and make full utilization of potential natural support systems such as neighborhood networks, churches and community organizations to encourage treatment program engagement.
  • Reach out to eligible clients, inform them of and educate them about available services and in the community.
Qualifications and Requirements
