Position: Bilingual Administrative Assistant Role
Join the FANS office as a Bilingual Administrative Assistant in Arviat, supporting critical administrative functions. Your bilingual skills will be essential for effective communication and operations.

This permanent position (37.5 hours/week) reports to the Director of FANS and is aimed at enhancing the daily operations of the office. You will oversee the correspondence flow, manage filing systems, support human resource functions, and provide bilingual receptionist services, ensuring a seamless experience for all staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage organization and setup of the office environment

• Prepare and coordinate correspondence activities

• Maintain comprehensive filing and information tracking

• Support human resource duties effectively

• Deliver receptionist services in Inuktitut and English

Requirements:

• Administrative experience relevant to office settings

• Fluency in both Inuktitut and English is essential

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks

• Attention to detail for accurate filing and correspondence

• Ability to provide consistent support for Nunavut students
