Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Welder Level I responsible for supporting operations by performing hand welding and mechanical duties using arc, MIG, and TIG welding processes on various materials, including mild and stainless steel. Assemble simple mechanical components for conveyor systems and food handling equipment. • Must have a minimum of one year of experience as a Welder’s Helper or be a graduate of an acceptable welding program.
• Must have a minimum of one year of experience with arc, MIG, and TIG welding.
• Must be familiar with the use of measuring tapes, various hand tools, cut-off saws, ironworkers, oxy-acetylene torches, and arc, MIG, and TIG welding machines.
• Must successfully complete the Grimmway Welder Certification Program.
• Must successfully complete the Welding Shop Math Test.
• Must follow all company policies and procedures.
• Must be able to work various shifts based on business needs.
• Must be able to drive to satellite facilities as needed.
• Must be able to read and understand written information in English.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that meets company policy, insurance, and DMV requirements.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment screening consistent with applicable state and federal law.

• Knowledge of appropriate welding rods for various projects.

Starting Wage: $19.00 / Hour
