Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Food Safety Compliance Specialist responsible for the implementation, documentation, and maintenance of detailed Quality Management Systems for Grimmway Farms. - Must have a bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in Food Science, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Microbiology, or equivalent work experience.
- A willingness to acquire additional training and certification, including HACCP and SQF Practitioner and/or Internal Auditor training, within six months of being hired.
- Must be computer literate and have experience in Microsoft Office.
- Must understand the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standards and of Organic compliance and standards (e.g., NOP).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Good writing, statistical, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to effectively respond to the concerns of managers, subordinates, customers, and regulatory agencies.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Must have the ability to travel as needed to various Grimmway facilities
- Remote work not available for this position.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that meets company policy, insurance, and DMV requirements.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment screening consistent with applicable state and federal law.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Total Rewards: $70,304 – 75,000 / Yearly

Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
