About the Opportunity:Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead responsible for ensuring that food safety and quality assurance monitoring programs are carried out. Communicate results to supervisor and other on-site leadership as needed. Facilitate training of Quality Assurance Technicians. Prioritize department needs and assign staff accordingly. Perform all roles of quality assurance technicians. Support, implement, improve, and maintain quality assurance and food safety programs.

Info What You Will Need
- 1-5 years of experience in quality control and food safety in manufacturing
- Working knowledge of quality and food safety methodologies and implementation within manufacturing environments
- Must have excellent leadership, communication, training, and team building skills.
- Must have good writing, statistical, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and respond to the concerns of managers and subordinates.
- Must have excellent organizational skills.
- Must be able to use a computer and/or tablet.
- Must have basic computer and math skills.
- Must be able to use red zone, Heavy connect, Produce Pro or any other QC/QA date software systems.
- Must be able to work overtime depending on business need.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment screening consistent with applicable state and federal law.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Total Rewards: $19.75 + 0.20 (NIGHT PREMIUM) / HOUR
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
