Job Summary

Full‑time Warehouse Associate at Caterpillar’s Arvin Distribution Center, with immediate benefits and ongoing training.

• 1st shift:
  Thursday‑Saturday 6:00 am–6:00 pm ($19.35 per hour)
• 3rd shift:
  Wednesday‑Friday 6:00 pm–6:00 am ($20.35 per hour)
• 1st shift (possible):
  Monday‑Friday 6:00 am–2:30 pm ($19.35 per hour)
• 2nd shift (possible):
  Monday‑Friday 2:30 pm–11:00 pm ($20.35 per hour)
• Monday‑Wednesday 6:00 am–6:00 pm ($20.35 per hour)
• Sunday‑Tuesday 6:00 pm–6:00 am ($20.35 per hour)

• Base wage $19.35 per hour, paid weekly, with overtime at 1.5×.

• Minimum age 18.
• No relocation assistance.
• English literacy required.
• Ability to work overtime.
• At least one year of warehouse experience; consecutive employment in previous roles.

• Safely perform material handling and warehousing processes for receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping parts and supplies.
• Operate handheld scanner for receiving, counting, and order processing.
• Train and operate cherry/order pickers, reach trucks, sit‑down forklifts, and overhead cranes/hoists (not mandatory for all positions).
• Report defects and needed repairs.
• Build wooden shipping containers using pneumatic or power tools.
• Apply paint and rust‑preventative coatings.
• Maintain housekeeping standards.
• Perform any other duties assigned.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality.

• Safety mindset – consistent use of PPE and safety procedures.
• Team mentality with strong time‑management, adaptability, and collaboration.
• Thoroughness – accurate quality checks, follow verbal and written instructions, perform clerical tasks, understand basic math.
• Experience – at least one year of previous employment and one year of current warehouse work.
• Agility – ability to lift up to 50 lb, walk, sit, stand, squat, and bend throughout the shift.

• Experience operating material handling equipment.

• Background screening.
• Drug screening.
• Post‑offer medical questionnaire; clearance from Corporate Medical.
